Personality & Behavior
Freddie is a spirited, active boy who is overflowing with love and joy to share. His journey has been tough, rescued on December 30, 2022, from a heartbreaking situation where he was left to starve and endure mistreatment at the hands of a drunk owner.
Despite all he has been through, Freddie’s resilient spirit shines brightly.
He spent over 1.5 years in various dog hotels, facing neglect and even a near brush with euthanasia. Thankfully, his microchip led to his rescue, and he finally arrived at the shelter safe and ready to start his new chapter.
Freddie’s past has made him a little nervous, but his big heart and playful nature are impossible to miss. He’s an active dog who thrives on attention and loves to bring happiness to those around him. .
Adoption Requirements
Home type : Freddie would do best in an active home where he has plenty of space to run and play. A secure yard is a must, as he loves to move and explore.
Experience level : Freddie needs an experienced dog owner who understands the needs of a rescue dog with a challenging past. Someone patient, confident, and skilled in positive reinforcement training would be ideal to help him build trust and confidence.
Other pets/kids : If there’s another dog in the home, it should be one with a calm and balanced temperament to help Freddie feel more secure.
