Personality & Behavior
Poppy's journey has been one of resilience and quiet bravery. He was left behind by an owner who simply went away, abandoning his dogs. Understandably, Poppy was deeply unsure of people at first, he would retreat to his box, too afraid to step out when anyone was around.
But Poppy is learning to trust again. Day by day, he is growing in confidence, discovering that gentle hands bring love, not harm. Now, he shares his space with two female dogs and another male, showing that he is social and enjoys canine companionship.
Poppy deserves a home where he can continue to blossom, surrounded by kindness, patience, and love. A quiet, understanding family who will give him the time he needs will be rewarded with the loyalty of a dog who is finally ready to trust again
