Personality & Behavior
Ralf has come a long way from the terrible condition he was rescued in. It took a long time for him to heal, both physically and emotionally, but his spirit is slowly shining through. Though still timid with humans, he is great with other dogs and finds comfort in their presence.
Ralf has Leishmaniasis, a manageable condition with the right care, and he may also have a sun allergy, so he will need some extra attention to keep him comfortable.
Due to his past trauma, Ralf is still learning to trust people. He is not comfortable walking on a lead and needs a crate for car rides, but with time, patience, and gentle encouragement, he can continue to make progress.
Adoption Requirements
Home type : Ralf needs a peaceful and understanding home, preferably with another friendly dog to help him feel secure. His ideal adopter will be patient, gentle, and experienced with shy dogs, giving him the space and time he needs to grow in confidence.
