Personality & Behavior
Zippy is a calm, well-behaved and loving dog who is ready to find his forever family. Zippy’s journey hasn’t been an easy one, but he’s remained a true gem throughout it all. Rescued from a bad owner by Paul Stassen, Zippy needed surgery to address a serious issue, and since then, he’s been recovering and adjusting to life with the care he deserves.
Although Zippy didn’t quite adapt to shelter life, he thrived in a foster home where he was well-loved and cared for. Unfortunately, he didn’t get along with the cat in the foster home, but he remains a calm and peaceful dog who is great with people and other dogs.
Adoption Requirements
Home type : A secure garden where he can enjoy outdoor time in a safe environment.
Experience level : His ideal home would be one where he feels safe and loved, with people who understand his calm nature and will give him the space and attention he deserves. Someone patient who will give him the love and attention he needs to thrive.
Other pets/kids: Zippy gets along best with female dogs, no cats.
