Personality & Behavior
Uzzy’s journey has been one of hardship, resilience, and hope. Rescued from a gypsy camp, she bore the scars of a life of neglect and suffering. Used for breeding, her puppies were cruelly taken from her, leaving her weak, emaciated, and heartbroken. The grief in her eyes told a story of loss, exhaustion, and a past where she had been passed from hand to hand, never truly safe.
Despite everything, Uzzy has shown incredible strength and spirit. With urgent medical care, we have treated her for severe anemia, leishmaniasis, and a uterus infection. She was at the brink of giving up until something beautiful happened. We managed to reunite her with three of her lost puppies, and in that moment, we saw a flicker of joy return to her soul. This was the beginning of her healing process and the first step toward a future filled with love, safety, and happiness.
Adoption Requirements
Home type : A home with a secure garden where she can enjoy peace and freedom.
Experience : Experienced with strong breeds, especially Pitbulls, and understands their needs. Patient and loving, willing to help her fully regain trust and confidence. Able to provide a calm and stable environment—she has endured too much instability.
Other pets/kids : Preferably in a home without other dogs, as we are still learning about her social skills with adult dogs. No cats or small animals due to her unknown past interactions.
