Caramelo was abandoned and spent four months in a foster home, but unfortunately, he had an incident with a chicken. He was terrified of everything, including humans and other dogs.
He needs time to build trust but becomes fine once he feels comfortable.

Home type :Caramelo needs a serene, low-stress setting where he can gradually learn to trust and feel secure. A home with a quiet room or secure area where he can retreat to when he feels overwhelmed is ideal.
Experience level : Caramelo will thrive with someone who understands his need for gentle care and is willing to invest time to build his confidence. An owner familiar with working with shy, traumatized dogs will be best suited to help him overcome his fears.
Understanding His Food Drive: Caramelo is very food driven and guards his bowl like a treasure, so an owner who can manage his food aggression safely through positive reinforcement training is essential.
