Personality & Behavior
Boneca’s journey hasn’t been easy. She spent her early life living in the wild with a troubled man and many other dogs, without the love and care she deserved. She struggled with the chaos of busy roads, cars, and fearful people, making it hard for her to trust the world around her.
Since arriving at the shelter, Boneca has blossomed into a sweet and gentle little dog. Though still a bit shy, she enjoys cuddles and attention once she feels safe. She is slowly learning to walk on a long lead, gaining confidence every day.
When it comes to other dogs, she needs time to adjust. At first, she may growl or snap, but she is not aggressive—just unsure. With calm and patient guidance, she learns to accept them.
Adoption Requirements
Home type A secure garden where she can feel comfortable and explore. A quiet and understanding home where she can feel safe and build trust at her own pace.
Experience level : Someone patient and kind, willing to give her the time she needs to adjust.
Other pets/kids : A home without too many other dogs, or with owners experienced in helping shy dogs integrate. Unknown with cats and kids, so a home without them or with careful introductions would be best.
